The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin (Review)

The Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin (Review)

It is clear why so many laud this book as a great autobiography, but it is also a bit of a tease. Franklin wrote his memoirs starting in 1771 as "an old man." Yet Franklin lived for many more years and his experiences stretched far beyond what he covered in his writing. While this autobiography is certainly a worthwhile read, I recommend finding a solid biography to complement Franklin's own evaluation of his life.
